SpaceX signs a deal with AI startup Cursor to build AI models, with an option to acquire Cursor for over 9.5 trillion won

SpaceX has partnered with AI coding company Cursor to develop coding and knowledge-work AI models using its Colossus supercomputer.

The deal also gives SpaceX an option in late 2026 to buy Cursor for $60 billion or pay $10 billion instead.

The move signals a faster push into AI and could significantly affect SpaceX’s strategy, valuation, and future expansion.
