Nvidia pumps over 40 billion dollars into AI partners so far in 2026

Nvidia has invested more than $40 billion in AI-related companies, expanding its reach across the sector.

Its biggest commitment is a $30 billion stake in OpenAI, alongside potential new investments of up to $2.1 billion in IREN and $3.2 billion in Corning.

The company’s spending spans AI model makers and infrastructure firms, including Anthropic, xAI, CoreWeave, Nebius, Marvell, Lumentum, and Coherent.

Supporters say the strategy strengthens the AI ecosystem, while critics argue it could also boost demand for Nvidia’s own chips.
