Marathon Player Count is Down 59% From Its Peak

Marathon's Steam player count has dropped 59% from its peak about a month after launch.

The game peaked at 88,337 concurrent players and had a 24-hour peak of 36,203.

Around 25,000 players were on Steam at the time of reporting, and Bungie plans regular content updates.

Marathon is a premium live-service release that charted on the PlayStation Store despite mixed PS5 reports.
