Anthropic just launched Claude Design, an AI tool that turns prompts into prototypes and challenges Figma

Anthropic has launched Claude Design in research preview for paid Claude users.

The AI tool can generate editable designs, prototypes, decks, and marketing assets from prompts.

It supports file imports and web capture, and runs on Claude Opus 4.7.

Work can also be handed off to Claude Code for implementation, putting it in competition with Figma, Adobe, and Canva.
