Samsung unveiled a new Android XR smart glasses project developed with Google, bringing Gemini AI integration and camera-based scene awareness.

The glasses are designed to last up to 9 hours and will support experiences like Samsung Notes and Google Meet through the XR platform.

Design collaborations with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker are planned, signaling a fashion-forward push into the smart glasses market.

Samsung said the first launch is targeted for fall 2026, with audio glasses expected to come first.
