Tencent WorkBuddy Launches Human-Agent Dual Writing: Office Suite Built Into AI Agent With Real-Time Collaborative Editing Across Word, Excel, PPT and Markdown

Tencent has launched WorkBuddy V5.3.5 with a new in-document editing mode.

In Tencent Docs, users can box-select parts of Word, Excel, PPT, or Markdown files and give natural-language edit commands.

The AI rewrites only the selected region while preserving the surrounding layout and formatting.

It also supports spreadsheet analysis and chart generation, plus presentation restructuring tasks.

The update moves AI from generating separate files to editing existing work in place, making it more useful for everyday office workflows.
