Don't Worry, Sega Is Still Reviving Multiple Legacy Franchises

Sega Sammy says multiple legacy franchise revivals are still in the works, despite canceling its planned “Super Game” initiative.

The company specifically pointed to possible new entries or announcements tied to Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Virtua Fighter, Persona 4, Alien: Isolation, and Total War.

Sega also listed other IP in its pipeline, including Stranger Than Heaven, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Shinobi, Eternal Champions, The House of the Dead, and OutRun.

The update reinforces Sega’s continued push to revive classic brands across games, with additional movie and animation projects also planned.
