Apple launches ‘Upgrade’ device leasing program in partnership with Klarna

Apple has launched Apple Upgrade with Klarna, a monthly leasing program for eligible U.S. customers.

The program covers iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad, with options to upgrade, buy, or return the device at term end.

As it rolls out Apple Upgrade, Apple is ending its current U.S. financing and installment offerings.

The shift makes Apple hardware potentially more affordable up front while moving the company toward a lease-based financing model.
