iOS 27 includes smarter Find My location sharing for Apple Watch users

In iOS 27, Find My will automatically switch shared location to a paired Apple Watch when the iPhone is out of range.

That should make location sharing more accurate for people who leave their iPhone behind but keep wearing their watch.

watchOS 27 will also bring a unified, redesigned Find My app on Apple Watch.

The change should reduce confusion for friends and family tracking someone’s current location.
