Microsoft is finally letting you remap the Copilot key nobody asked for

Microsoft says a future Windows 11 update will let users remap the dedicated Copilot key.

The key can be reassigned to Context Menu or Right Ctrl through a new keyboard setting in Settings.

The change follows criticism that the AI key displaced common shortcuts and could interfere with accessibility tools.

It gives users a built-in way to undo a controversial keyboard design, including on devices marked with NoCopilotKey.
