Introducing ChatGPT for Excel and New Financial Data Integrations

OpenAI launched a beta ChatGPT add-in for Excel that can build, update, and analyze workbook models from natural language prompts.

ChatGPT for Google Sheets also expanded in beta, with new app integrations to support spreadsheet workflows.

OpenAI added finance data integrations from FactSet, Factiva, LSEG, Daloopa, and S&P Global.

The update aims to bring AI directly into spreadsheets and trusted market data sources, reducing manual modeling and speeding finance analysis.
