Samsung Set to Beat Apple to AI Smart Glasses With July Launch

Samsung is reportedly set to unveil AI-powered Galaxy Glasses and new foldables at a July 22 Galaxy Unpacked event.

The glasses are expected to run on Android XR with Gemini, and feature cameras, speakers, microphones, and SmartThings integration.

The launch would put Samsung ahead of Apple, whose own smart glasses are not expected until 2027.

Samsung may also preview a wider foldable design that could align more closely with Apple’s rumored aspect ratio.
