Shift Up says it will publish Stellar Blade 2 instead of Sony, wants to ‘reach a broad global audience from day one’

Shift Up confirmed Stellar Blade 2 is in development and will be self-published, unlike the first game which was handled by Sony.

The company is planning a simultaneous launch on supported platforms to reach a larger global audience.

That strategy gives Shift Up more control over marketing and release timing, and could expand the franchise beyond a PlayStation-first rollout.

Shift Up also said the original Stellar Blade may still come to additional platforms.
