Google Translate turns 20, and it's making me practice my speech with AI

Google Translate is adding Pronunciation Practice, an AI-powered feature in the Practice tab for language learners.

Users can rehearse phrases, hear phonetic guidance, and get feedback on their pronunciation.

The rollout starts in the U.S. and India, with support for English, Spanish, and Hindi.

The update marks Google Translate’s 20th anniversary and broadens the app beyond text translation.
