Instagram is testing a new paid tier that allows users to watch Stories anonymously

Instagram is piloting a paid tier called Instagram Plus that is being tested in Mexico, Japan, and the Philippines.

The subscription currently costs about $1–$2 per month in the test markets and adds features for Stories and engagement.

Instagram Plus subscribers can view other users' Stories without appearing in the viewers list and can extend Story duration and audience controls.
