Gritt Launches With $32.4M Pre-Seed & Series A

Gritt launched with $32.4 million in combined pre-seed and Series A funding, including a $26 million Series A led by Obvious Ventures.

The startup builds an AI- and robotics-based system that attaches to standard construction equipment to automate labor-heavy work, verification, and planning.

Its technology is already being used on outdoor infrastructure jobs, with an initial focus on large-scale solar projects.

Backers include Union Square Ventures, Active Impact Investments, First Round Capital, Climactic, Congruent Ventures, and VSC Ventures.
