Snowflake updates coding agent 'Coco'...strengthens autonomous execution features

Snowflake unveiled major updates to its coding agent, CoCo, at its annual event.

CoCo now integrates with desktop, mobile, Slackbot, and developer tools, and can handle more autonomous automation, monitoring, validation, and operations workflows.

Snowflake also introduced Cloud Agents and a Skill Catalog to expand agent capabilities.

The company launched Datastream, a fully managed Apache Kafka-based streaming service that ingests data into Snowflake tables without code changes.
