Two OpenAI Execs, Including CEO of AGI, Going on Medical Leave

OpenAI has placed two senior executives on medical leave: Fidji Simo and Kate Rouch.

Simo will be absent for several weeks to treat a neuroimmune condition and plans to return.

Rouch is stepping away to recover from cancer and may make limited returns if her health allows.

COO Brad Lightcap will move to a special projects role while some COO duties shift to the chief revenue officer.
