More bad news for Apple pricing as TSMC increases chip costs

Apple has already raised prices on many products as memory costs climb.

A Nikkei Asia report says TSMC is planning to increase chip fabrication fees by 5% to 10%.

TSMC may also charge extra if customer orders exceed initial expectations.

The move could keep Apple’s prices elevated and make future iPhone launches more expensive.
