With a global partnership, 'K-Moonshot' gets into full swing... government joins hands with Google DeepMind

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and Google DeepMind signed an MOU in Seoul to expand AI collaboration in science and technology.

The partnership covers joint research, talent exchange, and responsible AI use, with a focus on safety governance.

The two sides also plan to connect the work with Korea’s K-Moonshot program to accelerate AI-driven scientific innovation.

The deal is seen as a way to strengthen both Korea’s global research network and its AI safety framework.
