Missing Fitbit Air update is causing headaches, Google says it'll pick up the pace

Some early Fitbit Air buyers received devices before the required app rebrand update reached their phones.

On Android, the tracker could not pair or got stuck updating because the Fitbit app had not yet switched to Google Health.

Google confirmed the issue and said it is speeding up the Android rollout to fix setup delays.

iPhone users can already download the updated app from the App Store.
