Saturday Hoy No Circula: which cars can drive and which must stay off the road on August 1

On August 1, the Saturday Hoy No Circula rule will apply in Mexico City and parts of the State of Mexico from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Because it is an odd week, vehicles with hologram 1 and license plates ending in an odd number must stay off the road.

Vehicles with hologram 0 and 00 may circulate, while hologram 2 vehicles are banned every Saturday.

The rule covers several metro-area municipalities, and violations can lead to fines and vehicle towing.
