At Google I/O 2026, Antigravity gets a new job description

Google is expanding Antigravity from a coding tool into a broader platform for building and managing autonomous AI agent teams.

The update adds a standalone desktop app, terminal CLI, SDK, Managed Agents in the Gemini API, and Google Cloud enterprise integration.

Google is positioning Antigravity as a multi-agent development and automation platform, not just a code-generation environment.

The company also unveiled the higher-priced AI Ultra plan and cited early enterprise adoption from customers like AirAsia Next, Deloitte, PwC, and WPP.
