IGEL brings ‘Smarter, Zero Trust’ approach Contextual Access to endpoints

IGEL announced Contextual Access at the Now & Next 2026 event as an extension to its Adaptive Secure Desktop platform.

Contextual Access uses four layers—device, persona, conditional policy, and context-based enforcement—to determine endpoint behavior.

The system continuously adjusts access based on user, device, location, and trust signals and integrates with Cisco ISE and Forescout.

IGEL will start with persona-based configurations and plans to offer reference architectures for secure cloud desktops.
