Subnautica is free to play this weekend, and the subaquatic survival all-timer has a hefty discount to boot

Unknown Worlds is offering a free Subnautica weekend starting April 2 (10pm PT) / April 3 (1am ET).

The free play period runs through April 6 at 9:59am PT and applies to the original Subnautica.

Both Subnautica and Below Zero are on sale at 75% off, lowering each price to about $7.49 / £6.49.

Developer material indicates Subnautica 2 will enter early access in May.
