Three classic Pokemon games are now playable on Android

An unofficial project, Gen1Recomp, now lets Android users play Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow natively on phones.

The GitHub release requires a legally obtained ROM and includes support for easy mod installation.

The port skips a traditional emulator, making the classic Game Boy games run more directly on Android.

It could be short-lived, since Nintendo may move against the project.
