iOS 26.5: Five new iPhone features are coming next week

Apple is preparing to roll out iOS 26.5 next week with five notable iPhone updates.

The release adds Suggested Places in Maps, end-to-end encrypted RCS in Messages, and new Pride Luminance wallpaper options.

It also introduces a 12-month commitment subscription model in the App Store in most regions.

Reminders will get more precise snooze time controls, rounding out the update across navigation, messaging, personalization, and billing.
