Here's how engineers plan to save the satellite sent to save NASA's Swift mission

Katalyst Space Technologies’ Link satellite has started spinning uncontrollably after losing part of its attitude-control hardware.

The company is trying to stabilize the spacecraft with its xenon electric thrusters so it can continue the NASA Swift rescue mission.

If Link cannot be recovered soon, NASA’s first commercial satellite servicing mission could fail and Swift may drop too low to save.
