"OPENREC.tv" to end "free streaming"; a "painful decision" as it shifts to a new fan-community-centered service starting in July

OPENREC will renew OPENREC.tv on July 1 and end free live streaming for general creators.

The service will shift to mellow-fan, a creator-limited fan community model with a stronger paid focus.

Existing archives will be removed or access rules changed, and subscription visibility will also be updated.

New features will include event ticket sales and one-on-one video calls.
