AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 “Gorgon Halo” Leak Smokes Strix Halo by 10%, Packs 192GB Memory and Radeon 8065S

A PassMark entry appears to have leaked AMD’s Ryzen AI MAX+ 495 “Gorgon Halo” APU.

The chip is said to pack 16 Zen 5 cores, a Radeon 8065S iGPU, and support for up to 192GB of memory.

Benchmark data suggests about a 10% multicore uplift over the current Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 395 / Strix Halo.

If real, the higher-end mobile APU could boost gaming, creator tasks, and local AI workloads, with launch expected later this year or early next year.
