US Navy gets 26-foot drone submarine with 1,243 mile-range from Australia

Australia's C2 Robotics has delivered its 26-foot Speartooth uncrewed submarine to the United States, its first publicly identified export customer.

The Speartooth is built for autonomous intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and strike missions, with modular payloads, long range, and deep-diving capability.

The shipment highlights growing demand for autonomous maritime weapons and may shape future naval use of low-cost, distributed undersea platforms.
