Chrome for Android will let you share approximate location

Chrome for Android is adding approximate location sharing in website permission prompts, alongside the option to share precise location.

Google says the update will give users finer control over location privacy and reduce unnecessary exposure of exact coordinates.

The feature is planned for desktop Chrome later and will be paired with new web APIs for developers.

Websites are encouraged to request only the level of location accuracy they actually need.
