Qualcomm announces low-cost PC chip “Snapdragon C” to compete with MacBook Neo, and Acer quickly adopts it to release entry-level “Aspire Go 15”

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon C, a low-cost PC chip for entry-level Windows laptops starting around $300.

The chip focuses on efficient performance, quieter operation, lower heat, and all-day battery life.

It includes an integrated NPU for AI features, but it does not meet Copilot+ PC requirements.

Acer said it will use Snapdragon C in the Aspire Go 15, a 15.6-inch budget notebook with up to 8GB RAM and 512GB storage.
