Metro 2039 release date window, story, and trailers

Metro 2039 does not have a firm release date yet, but it is expected to launch in winter 2026, likely in Q4.

The game follows The Stranger as he moves through Moscow’s metro to stop the authoritarian Novoreich.

Trailer footage was shown during Xbox First Look, giving fans a new look at the game’s tone and setting.

As the next Metro entry from 4A Games, it looks set to be a major survival-shooter release.
