Tesla Starts Selling Chinese-Made Model 3s In Canada At The EV's Lowest Price Ever

Tesla has resumed selling China-made Model 3s in Canada, starting with the Premium Rear-Wheel Drive version from Shanghai.

The starting price drops to C$39,490, and Model 3 Performance pricing is also reduced.

Canada’s lower tariff on Chinese-made EVs made the move possible, after Tesla had previously relied on U.S.-built cars for Canadian buyers.

The new Model 3 is not eligible for Canada’s EV affordability incentive because it is not built domestically.
