Wingtech sues Nexperia for €1 billion

Wingtech has filed a lawsuit in China seeking at least €1 billion in damages over Dutch restrictions on Nexperia.

The company argues the Dutch measures amount to discriminatory sanctions and wants control of the chipmaker restored.

The dispute follows Dutch intervention, leadership changes at Nexperia, and major write-downs by Wingtech.

Parallel arbitration and court proceedings are now deepening the cross-border fight over semiconductor control.
