Hancom Reborn from Hancom Office to Hancom... Declares Transformation into a Sovereign Agentic OS Company

Hancom announced it will change its name and reposition itself as an AI platform company centered on a "sovereign agentic OS," combining data sovereignty with AI agent operations.

The company said it will end annual sales of Hancom Office and shift to a platform service where AI features are updated in real time.

CEO Kim Yoon-soo said the new strategy targets the global agentic AI market and marks a departure from the traditional document software model.

Hancom also highlighted plans to expand its subscription-based platform business and accelerate overseas growth, including Europe.
