ChatGPT and Roblox Will Reportedly Be Subject to Tighter Rules in the EU

Bloomberg reports the EU plans to classify ChatGPT and Roblox as very large online platforms in August.

That would put both services under tougher Digital Services Act rules.

The obligations include greater transparency, risk mitigation, auditing, and reporting.

VLOP status is reserved for widely used platforms and brings stricter regulatory scrutiny.
