How to change your Gmail display name and what happens to your old address when you do

Google is rolling out a new option in Spain to change the primary Gmail address from Google Account settings.

The change keeps your account and data intact, turns the old address into a secondary one, and still lets you receive email at both addresses.

It can only be done once every 12 months and is not yet available to all users.
