Cursor launches India-only pricing plan ahead of SpaceX acquisition, targeting local developers

Cursor launched Cursor Start, an India-specific subscription priced at 649 rupees per month.

The plan is cheaper than Pro and targets demand between the free and paid tiers.

It supports billing in Indian rupees and UPI payments, showing a localized go-to-market push.

Cursor is also expanding its sales team and local presence in India.

Separately, its roughly $60 billion acquisition deal with SpaceX is still on track to close in Q3.
