Codex now supports automating Windows, and can automatically draw in Paint or operate a browser

OpenAI’s Codex Computer Use feature now works on Windows, expanding beyond its previous macOS support.

With Any App enabled, Codex can control specific apps on a PC, including tasks like drawing in Paint and browsing the web.

Users can also start, review, and direct Windows PC tasks from the ChatGPT mobile app on iPhone and Android.

The update makes Codex’s automation and remote-control capabilities more practical for everyday PC work.
