Potholes cost cities millions: This company is using AI and trucks to fix them

Samsara launched Ground Intelligence, a dashboard that uses fleet camera data to spot potholes and track how road damage worsens over time.

The system can also flag other infrastructure problems, including graffiti and damaged guardrails.

Several cities are already contracted, and Chicago is joining as a customer.

By using vehicles already on the road, the tool aims to make municipal maintenance faster, cheaper, and more data-driven.
