Gemini Intelligence has strict requirements, and your phone may not qualify

Google has set strict hardware and software requirements for Gemini Intelligence on Android, including a flagship chipset, 12GB RAM, AI Core support, and Gemini Nano v3 or later.

The rules could leave out some current premium phones, with reports saying even devices like the Pixel 9 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7 may not qualify yet.

Google’s long-term update requirements also point to a higher standard for future flagship phones.

2026-era devices such as the Pixel 10 series and Oppo Find X9 are expected to be built with Gemini compatibility in mind.
