Valve Adds New Tools to Help Devs Know When a Game Isn’t Running Well on Steam Deck

Valve is adding new Steam Deck tools for developers, including 30-day average framerate reporting for Verified games.

Developers will also get post-play surveys asking players whether a game really deserves its Verified badge, with feedback on performance and stability.

Valve says access may later expand to Playable games as it gives studios better data to catch regressions and improve Steam Deck performance.

The update fits Valve’s broader push to support its growing SteamOS hardware ecosystem, including Steam Deck and future devices like Steam Frame and Steam Machine.
