NVIDIA has launched the Open Secure AI Alliance with Microsoft and 30+ other companies to jointly improve security for open AI models.

The alliance will develop cybersecurity tools, defense stacks, and vulnerability-fixing processes for open-weight models.

Built on efforts from the Linux Foundation and OpenSSF, members will contribute harnesses, protection techniques, and related safeguards.

The move could help set industry standards for AI safety and cyber defense around open models.
