US firm targets high-energy nuclear fuel for advanced reactors with strategic deal

ASP Isotopes’ Quantum Leap Energy signed a non-binding MOU with a European nuclear technology company to explore long-term HALEU supply through 2030.

The partner would provide uranium feedstock, while Quantum Leap Energy would convert and enrich it at planned facilities for potential delivery starting in 2028.

The supply arrangement could scale through 2036 and help address a major HALEU bottleneck for advanced nuclear reactors and next-generation energy systems.
