All-New Apple Home Hub Reportedly Launching as Soon as October

Apple is reportedly planning to launch a new smart home hub between October and early next year.

The device may come in tabletop and wall-mounted versions, combining a speaker with a 7-inch display.

It is expected to run a new tvOS-based system and support FaceTime, HomeKit, music, calendars, intercom, and security monitoring.

Apple is also said to be developing a home security camera that could compete with Amazon Ring.
