Microsoft says it has over 20M paid Copilot users, and they really are using it

Microsoft said M365 Copilot has reached 20 million paid enterprise seats, signaling stronger adoption in the workplace AI market.

The company reported nearly 20% quarter-over-quarter growth in query usage and weekly engagement now comparable to Outlook.

Microsoft said more customers are buying large deployments, including enterprises such as Accenture, Bayer, and Morgan Stanley.

The company also highlighted default agent mode and support for multiple AI models as it deepens Copilot across Office apps.
