Cycling Navitime Adds Support Feature for 'Blue Ticket' Violations

Bicycle NAVITIME updated to comply with the road traffic law revision effective April 1.

The National Police Agency introduced a traffic fine notice system for bicycle violations, commonly called the 'blue ticket'.

As a bicycle-only navigation app, it developed new features to deter some of the covered violations.

Lights-off prevention: automatically prompts voice and on-screen reminders to turn on lights 30 minutes before sunset.

Also adds stop-sign icons on the map (shows the nearest three on route with voice alerts), a screen-look prevention mode, and new 'Turn' and 'Power Saving' navigation modes.
