Google ships 3 new Gemini models, but not the one everyone’s waiting for

Google launched three new Gemini models: 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber.

The new models aim to be faster, cheaper, and more specialized for developers, including cybersecurity use cases.

Google says Gemini 3.5 Pro is still in partner testing after missing its planned June release.

The company has also started pre-training Gemini 4, signaling the next major model is already in progress.
